Quarantine who?

I would love to say I'm in the same boat in this quarantine but, I'm a home school Mama and I usually, other than once a week, work from home. So, My lil' farm doesn't feel the stress that most homes are feeling. My children have their clocks ticking right on time. Waylon is out farming in his underwear and Jameson is off raising the new chicks.

I feel beyond blessed that we are able to move forward through this with very little blips.

My husband, an amazingly brilliant man, is a "Prepper". Yes, he's one of those guys. Yeah, I liked the idea, but I never really thought we would need to put it into motion. Boy was I wrong.

I learned to harvest and can our entire garden last year and I could not be more thankful that I did. We have jars and jars of fresh carrots and beans.

We raised our own pigs and put them in our freezer, when time came. My husband also does some work on a farm and we trade hours for fresh organic beef and now we have huge amounts of meat.

We raise our little chicken farm and collect about 5 to 10 eggs a day!

He has us set up and I had no idea, really, why. Why do we have to have our freezers full and our gas tanks never below half full? There are so many things that he prepped our sweet lil' farm with, and now we are reaping the blessings.
